Enjoy a bed and breakfast stay at Hill House, our Georgian Grade II listed home on the banks of the River Orwell between Pin Mill and Shotley, but convenient for the A14 and Ipswich.
The recently converted annex offers two ground floor en suite (shower) bedrooms, which are linked by a tiled lobby which are separate from, but adjacent to the main house.
French doors lead out to private lawns and garden furniture with views across open countryside, perfectly suited for catching the evening sunshine. There are fantastic views of the River Orwell from the garden furniture. The rooms in the annex offer the same comfort as the Red room in the main house.
Breakfast is served at a long table in the dining room where the French windows provide wonderful views of the river and of wildlife in their natural habitat. Breakfasts are freshly cooked on the Aga using locally produced sausages and bacon, home-made preserves and eggs from the chickens in the orchard.
There is also an elegant sitting room for guests use, complete with traditional open fireplace.
